Shipping, Refunds & Customer Service

This shop sells the e-book Mother Earth and the Tapestry of My Roots by Jayyam Dionne, in PDF and ePub formats. There are no physical products, so nothing is shipped by mail.
Delivery
- Timing: the book is delivered right after your payment is confirmed.
- How: an email with download links is sent to the address you gave at checkout. Your files also stay available at any time in your account on the site.
- Cost: no delivery fees.
- Didn’t get the email? Check your spam folder first. If it isn’t there, write to shop@jeanmariedionne.com with your name and the date of purchase. We reply within 24 hours.
Prices & Payment
- Prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD), all taxes included.
- Payment is handled by PayPal, by credit card or with a PayPal account. We never see or store your banking information.
Refund Policy
All sales are final. A digital product can’t be returned, so no refunds are given once a purchase is made.
The only exception is a technical problem outside your control, for example:
- defective or unreadable files, when we can’t provide you with a working version;
- a double charge caused by a payment system error;
- a payment that went through but gave you no way to receive or access the book.
To make a request: write to shop@jeanmariedionne.com with your order number and a description of the problem. We reply within 24 hours. If the refund is approved, it is issued through PayPal.
Technical Issues
- Kindle: you can convert the ePub with the free tool Calibre, or send it to your Kindle by email.
- Other issues: write to shop@jeanmariedionne.com and tell us your device and the format you’re using.
